Quick Tip Of The Week #11 and #12

Since I couldn’t post any quick tips for the past 2 weeks, I will post both of them in one  :D

#11

For this to work, you will need a lip-brush or clean fingers, blush , and clear liquid lip gloss!
Add a thin layer of blush on you lips, and then, using your lip-brush, add a layer of clear gloss. Repeat the same process as many times as you want, until you get the color of your choice :D
Make sure to blot any  excess lip-gloss off for a clean finish! :)

#12

Slice up a clove of garlic into tiny circles, and apply them on your pimples or acne. Use an adhesive band-aid to keep the garlic on your skin over night, and you will wake up with a blemish free face! Make sure to rinse off all the garlic, and use a scented face lotion so you won’t smell like garlic the whole day!

Quick tip of the week #4

Quick Tip of the week #4

If your hair got oily really fast and you have not time to wash it, here is one of the solutions I apply to solve this problem! :D

Grab one tablet of regular effervescent aspirin, a spray bottle , a hair dryer and some water! Fill up the spray bottle with water at room temperature, pop in your aspirin, and mix until the whole aspirin is fully dissolved.
Spray this close to the roots and blow dry it as quick as possible :)

And there you go! DIY Dry Shampoo!:))

Good Luck,

Homemade Hair Darkener

Since last week’s quick tip was about naturally lightening your hair, this week, i”l be showing you how to naturally darken your hair! To do this  at home, you will need the following:

  1. Ground coffee
  2. A shower cap
  3. water

Begin by strongly brewing a few cups of coffee until it reaches an appropriate temperature.. close to the one at which you serve your coffee. Pour the coffee in a bowl and soak your hair gradually into the mixture. For better results , divide your hair into sections. Use the remaining coffee to cover up the roots …

Roll your hair up and wrap it in plastic foil ,or just place it in a shower cap. I know it’s  a lot of time, but you will have to stay like that for about 3 to 4 hours. Look at the bright  side of it! Unlike the lemon dye , coffee gets your hair darker in a couple of hours! :)

When the time has passed, wash your hair as you would usually do , with shampoo and conditioner, and let it naturally dry. You hair will smell like coffee and hazelnuts, but the color will last up to 5 washes. :D

Hope it’s helpful!
Good Luck :D

D.I.Y Anti-cellulite coffee scrub

Heyy tumblr!

Here’s a quick beauty D.I.Y which should spare you of  some money wasted on salon  treatments- Anti-cellulite coffee scrub-

Here’s what I used:

  • Fine ground coffee
  • Granulated sugar
  • Usual fine table salt or sea salt
  • A spoon
  • A storage container :)

I decided to take pictures and show you a collage of the steps that you need to follow :

I used a regular spoon as a measurement for this project, however you can use tablespoon, tea spoon, or even cups, for making a larger amounts of scrub.

Add the coffee, sugar and salt, and give em’ a good mix! I used an old ‘bronzing pearls’ container as a storage for my scrub, however, feel free to use any other container!
When you want to use the scrub , mix it with a small amount of honey for extra stickiness , or some water to give it a paste-like texture.

Even if I named this scrub “Anti-cellulite coffee scrub” , that doesn’t mean that you only have to use it as a cellulite treatment! This scrub works perfectly as a regular facial mask/brush! Use a bit more water on this one, and scrub gently, unlike the anti cellulite method , in which you have to scrub in a rougher motion and add less liquids..:)

For cellulite, use this about 3-4 times a week, rinsing it in the shower.
For a facial  scrub, use this about 2 times a week MAXIMUM!

Hope it helps…. Try to add some exercise to this and you will have awesome thighs by summer :D  (personal experience) :P

Good Luck and I will see you next time :)
